As we dry out from last week's rain, you may have noticed temperatures have taken a fall-like turn in the Texas panhandle. Several cold fronts and waves of cooler air have moved in, however, our coldest temperatures are forecast to move in for early Friday morning.

A strong cold front will move through the southern plains Thursday into Thursday night. Low temperatures early Friday morning are expected to range from the mid 20's to the upper 30's across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. Windy conditions will make it feel like the teens and 20's across much of the area during the Friday morning commute. Remember to get those jackets ready, especially for the kids headed off to school.
