New York native country-pop singer Carolyn Miller is celebrating summertime in her upbeat single "Summer Time." Readers can press play below to hear the brand-new track, premiering exclusively on The Boot.

"Your ultimate summer jam," according to Miller herself, "Summer Time" looks back on that one summer -- and that one summer romance -- you'll always remember. "No matter how many years ago by or how old you get, you'll always remember that time together like it was yesterday," the singer tells The Boot.

"It was holdin' hands, cover bands, dancin' under bright lights / Startin' fires, smokin' tires, memories under moonlight," Miller sings in an explosive chorus. "Only one thing on my mind / No curfew, not tonight / Whoa-oh, whoa / We were on summer time."

Miller, who has been performing professionally since she was 8 years old, is a Boston Conservatory at Berklee graduate and a former Nash Next finalist. She cites former American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, as well as Faith Hill and Adele -- all powerhouse voices -- among her influences.

Miller released her debut EP, Unbreakable, in 2018. Readers can keep up with her goings-on, including her new music's release schedule, at CarolynMillerMusic.com.
