'American Idol' winner and country music starlet Carrie Underwood knows what it's like to sing your heart out and then wait for judges to decide your musical fate, and she's willing to do it... if she can be the bearer of good news.

The 'Two Black Cadillacs' singer says she would consider taking her singing competition experience to the judging panel of Simon Cowell's 'X-Factor' show, but has some hesitation about breaking the hearts of wannabe musicians. She may be thinking back to her days of competition, remembering all the devastated 'Idol' hopefuls who received the 'thanks, but no thanks' from the judges.

The fan-favorite beauty shows her soft side, as she tells Glamour magazine, ''I'd never say never. I think I could do things in a very constructive way. But those initial auditions, where you have to say no or tell someone to stop? I don't know if I could do that.''

If Underwood ever decides to be a judge on 'X Factor,' it will need to happen once her schedule clears, as she is on the second leg of her tour with Hunter Hayes. The singer has 'Blown Away' music fans with her powerful vocals and jaw-dropping beauty since 2005, when she first took the 'Idol' stage, receiving six Grammys and recording four successful country albums since. Hopefully, she'll continue trekking forward as one of country music's beloved icons.
