Chris Stapleton is having a very good 2018 to date. Just last month, he scooped up Academy of Country Music Awards for Male Vocalist and Album of the Year and welcomed twin boys, and now he's dominating at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.

A number of awards were handed out ahead of the May 20 8PM ET/PT broadcast ceremony and Stapleton managed to collect the Top Country Artist, Top Male Country Artist, and Top Country Album (for From a Room Vol. 1) honors before the show even officially started. (See a full updating list of winners here.) As of posting time, Stapleton had only lost in one of the categories he was nominated in: Top Billboard 200 artist, where he was bested by Drake. He was still up for the all-genre Top Selling Album award, along with competitors Kendrick Lamar, Pink, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

The 2018 Billboard Music Awards were set to air live on NBC from Las Vegas May 20, with Kelly Clarkson hosting.
