According to an update posted on social media, the vaccination clinic will be open tomorrow (4/2) from 9 AM until 5 PM. If you have the day off tomorrow, it would be a good time to get your vaccine.

They will be closed on Saturday for Easter weekend.

Amarillo has received a lot of great recognition for how we've handled getting out the vaccine. We've really done a good job of making the whole process simple and quick.

A friend of mine went yesterday to get his shot, and he said it took roughly 30 minutes total. Supposedly the best time to go is in the afternoons. There isn't much of a line, and your wait time won't be as long as in the morning.

Before you go get your vaccination, be sure to check out the City's website. They do a good job of keeping it updated with info on the availability of the vaccine, and they give you a lot of helpful information.

They have a section where they answer questions that get asked most often. They also have their hours posted, and eligibility requirements regarding second dose.

You can check out their vaccine website by following this link.

The walk-in clinic is at the Civic Center Complex at 401 S. Buchanan. You'll want to use entrance 3 at the North Exhibit Hall.
