Did You Know: Chase Rice Co-Wrote ‘Cruise’ for Florida Georgia Line

When you help write one of the biggest country songs of the 2000's that helps launch the career of one of the biggest country bands right now, it's kind of a big deal!

Now I had no idea Chase Rice helped write 'Cruise!' That not only shot Florida Georgia Line's career to the top, but created a new "Bro Country" sound in the genre. That song was so huge when it first came out that rapper Nelly wanted to be apart of the remix.

On his website, Rice said about being apart of the hit single "Hell yeah, I’m pumped about ‘Cruise!’ It’s one of the coolest things that’s ever happened to me" But Rice is ready to move on from that and improve saying "I’ve always been of the mindset – it’s from football – if you win a game against Miami, you’ve got to go play Virginia Tech next week. Let’s write something better. Let’s write something more meaningful"
