Well, guess what? Texas has made an exclusive list, and it's not a list we want to be on.

According to a study done by the Time2Play group, Texas checks in at number three out of 50 in most spam calls received on a daily basis.

On average, callers in the US receive 3.7 spam calls PER DAY. In Texas? That number jumps to 4.1 per day. I can attest to this. I definitely get at least 4 per day, if not more.

The US average is 1.5 scam texts per day when it comes to texts. You know the ones I'm talking about, those random texts that have a link to click on to win a $50 Amazon gift card, or something along those lines.

There were some other interesting stats that were found in this survey. This one won't surprise anybody, but 91% of people just ignore unknown, blocked, or unfamiliar numbers. Voicemail is a beautiful thing, isn't it?

A whopping 71% are concerned that their grandparents or other elderly family members will fall for one of these scams, while 21% say they know people that HAVE fallen victim to one of them already.
