Ghostbusters Anniversary Event Coming to Amarillo Theaters

The Ghostbusters are celebrating their 35th anniversary in Yellow City. Theaters in Amarillo will be a part of a nation-wide two night event.

The special screening, thanks to Fathom Events and Sony, will include introductions from original cast members, plus some never before seen footage.

The theaters in Amarillo that are participating are the Regal Amarillo Star 14 on Amarillo Blvd, and the Cinemark Hollywood 16 on Canyon Drive.

The screenings will take place on Oct. 6, and on Oct. 10. Click here for more information.

This comes at a great time, as we are all waiting on the next film. In case you haven't heard, the Ghostbusters will be back for what is being hailed as an "official" third film.

Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman (original director/producer), will be taking the helm for the third film that seeks to continue the original story from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2.

Charge up the proton packs, and get ready to feel "so funky." Ghostbusters are coming back to Amarillo.
