On Tuesday, March 18, we'll all be bracing ourselves for another day of strong winds across the Texas panhandle. While the wind isn't forecasted to be as strong as it was last Friday, it is still going to present plenty of danger.

Gusts are projected to be up to 65 miles per hour in the Texas panhandle. This is going to lead to increased fire danger, blowing dust, and once again the potential for power outages.
The National Weather Service Amarillo has released information ahead of the strong winds tomorrow. They are cautioning everyone on the potential for reduced visibility thanks to blowing dust, and the danger of wildfire.

How To Be Ready For More Strong Wind In The Texas Panhandle
Take time to make sure you're prepared. Make sure your lawn furniture is secured and your trash carts are put where they won't be blown all over the neighborhood. Be extremely careful when traveling. As we saw on March 14, driving through blowing dust can be tragic if you're not being careful.

Make sure you're ready for the possibility of power outages. Have a plan in place to make sure your devices are charged. Hopefully, our next round of strong winds in the area isn't as bad as they're forecasting and the most we get is a bad hair day.
