What would the 4th of July be without all of the crazy YouTube videos? The internet has allowed us to enjoy the pain of others with a big laugh. They get a video on YouTube and it goes viral and the rest is history.

It was six years ago when Terry became an internet sensation. Do you remember "Back  Up Terry?" Terry was in a wheelchair lighting fireworks when his wheelchair malfunctioned or for whatever reason Terry just didn't back up. I remember my daughter showing me the video. It went viral. Oh, poor Terry.

If you are one that watches this video every Independence Day you are not alone. Oh, but you have the perfect opportunity this year. Terry is making a trip to Pampa. Yes, Back Up Terry is going to be in Pampa for the 4th of July. What a perfect reason to head to Pampa.

There will even be official t-shirts for the occasion. It cracks me up that even his personal Facebook page has shared the news. What is he going to be doing in Pampa? Well if he is not going to be lighting the official fireworks for Pampa's 4th of July celebration they are missing a golden opportunity.

Luckily that is indeed what Terry will be doing. Terry will also be part of the Pampa parade too. So plenty of chances to see Terry.

I just hope when Terry is lighting up the fireworks he is far away from the actual action. I hope that Terry can indeed back it up.

Pampa will be a fun place to be at for the 4th of July.

The Somewhat Small Towns of the Texas Panhandle

Say what now? Somewhat small?

That's right. These are the towns that seem massive when compared to teensy weensie two-stoplight towns like Pringle (30) or Kerrick (25), but they're definitely not on the same level as cities like White Deer or Panhandle....much less Amarillo.

Buckle up! We've got a places to go and towns to see! These populations are well over 100, but way less than 1000.

All aboard the Somewhat Small Texas Panhandle Towns tour!
