Amarillo Tax Day Freebies and Discounts You Can’t Miss
Tax day can be a stressful day for anyone in Amarillo. Some people have already received refunds, while others have waited to file until the very last possible second. Why would one wait? Well, there's a good chance they owe the IRS money on their taxes this year.
If you owe, you don't want to spend any money once those taxes get filed, but at the end of the day, life must go on, and life costs money. The good news is, there are many businesses that throw out some great deals to save you some cash, and we're here to show you what those places are today.

Shipley's Donuts
Need some breakfast? Maybe a midday pickup? Shipley's is offering up some of their glazed donuts on the cheap...and with a little number play. You can snag a half dozen glazed donuts for just $4.15.
Kona Ice
Always a favorite with our kids, especially at hot baseball tournaments, but Kona Ice is hooking you up with a free Kona Ice today. All you have to do is find a truck that is open, and they'll get you cooled off.
Fazoli's
In the mood for some pasta? Well, if you're a rewards member (it's free to sign up), you can score a BOGO baked spaghetti. In case you're unaware of what BOGO means for some reason, it's buy one, get one (free). We've got a location right off Soncy.
Great American Cookies
You'll find 'em inside Westgate Mall, and when you do, they've got a deal to cure your sweet tooth. They're hooking you up with a BOGO Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Slice deal. Just sign up for their rewards program and enjoy your sweet treat.
Smoothie King
Another rewards member deal, you can snag $3 off a smoothie when you join their Healthy Rewards program through the app. Seems like a pretty solid deal, and you'll start grabbing points for freebies.
Pizza Hut
Ready for a nice dinner deal? How about Pizza Hut hooking up a large 3-topping pizza for just $10? You can choose a pizza with Hand Tossed, Tavern Style, or Thin ‘N Crispy crust for this deal, but you must claim it either in person, on their website, or through the app.
Olive Garden
This is probably one of my favorite deals of the day. Olive Garden is giving you a BOGO deal on their pasta dishes. Yes, eat one in the restaurant, then take one home for lunch the next day. No rewards program or anything needed.
Subway
Here's one that could feed a whole family of four, for the price of just one footlong. Subway is throwing down a BOGO footlong deal on tax day. Think about it, take those two footlongs, turn them into four six-inch subs, and the whole family is chowing down.
