Jake Owen slows down for a new ballad called "Made for You," a song about falling in love with a soulmate.

The country singer shared the poignant love song during an appearance on the Bobby Bones Show. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar and heartfelt lyrics, Owen tells the woman he loves that he was made for her and couldn't operate without her — he'd be like a ship without a sea or a song without a melody.

"Water towers are made for hearts and names / And Friday nights are made for football games / And falling leaves are made for falling in/ And front porch steps are made for good night kissing / And I was made for you," he sings softly, driving home the song's sentiment.

"Made for You" is a special track for Owen — one of the best songs he's ever been pitched, if you ask him. "It's 100 percent my favorite song that I've not only heard in the last little while, but it's probably going to be one of my favorites I've ever recorded," he says. The new song is yet another example of what fans can expect from Owen on the music front, following the release of the upbeat summer jam "I Was Jack (You Were Diane)," his first single on his new record label.

Owen joined the Big Loud roster in late 2017, which brought him back together with producer Joey Moi, who was behind his successful Barefoot Blue Jean Night album. The new songs boost anticipation for the singer's 2018 Life's Watcha Make It Tour, which takes him and openers Chris Janson and "Singles You Up" hitmaker Jordan Davis to various baseball venues across the country throughout the summer.
