Fans who want to help support the members of Josh Turner's crew who were injured in a fatal bus crash on Sept. 18 can now do so. Turner's management has set up a GoFundMe account to benefit those individuals and their families and help pay for their care.

"Many of you have asked where you can support the guys and their families. My management company has created a GoFundMe page for our road family for anyone wishing to contribute," Turner posted to Facebook on Tuesday night (Sept. 24). "Your prayers have been felt. Please keep praying."

Turner's crew bus was traveling from a show in Paso Robles, Calif. The bus left the road 20 minutes into the trip and crashed through a barbed-wire fence, then drove 200 yards and straight off a 50-foot cliff.

The crash killed 64-year-old David Turner, who was Josh Turner's longtime sound engineer but not related to the singer. Seven others sustained injuries that Turner updated on Tuesday, speaking out for the first time since the accident.

"All of our crew suffered significant injuries and many have long roads to recovery," he writes. Turner has canceled all of his shows that were scheduled for September, and he says he and the rest of his team are struggling to come to terms with the accident and its aftermath.

"It’s a struggle to put into words the devastation and grief that our road family is trying to process," he states. "We lost a beloved member of our team, David Turner. He was like a brother to so many in this industry and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Please continue to keep David’s family in your prayers."

Local news station KSBY reports that the California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. Authorities have not yet established what caused the bus to leave the road.
