In an age where there is a new trending topic every time you turn around and 24/7 news feeds, it is so important to honor the people who don't forget about tragedies and do all they can to help.
A crew of Xcel Energy employees have been working on the island of Puerto Rico since January 29th. This incredible crew includes 16 people from Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas! (Woohoo) On February 8th, our boys restored power to a local school. Reports say students are thrilled. They are know able to attend a full day of school for the first time since the hurricane.
The Xcel Energy employees are set to return home on February 19th. There is still much work to be done on the Island so the company will deploy a new crew next week.
