Mason Ramsey is showing off a different side of his talents in his new video for the holiday classic, "White Christmas."

The 12-year-old rising country singer keeps it light in the fun new clip, dressed in a red Western shirt with white fringe and white pants reminiscent of an old-time country star like his hero, Hank Williams, and singing into an old-fashioned microphone as he delivers Irving Berlin's best-selling Christmas song.

Ramsey turns in a jaunty, upbeat spin on "White Christmas" that's very different from Bing Crosby's 1942 original, accelerating the tempo, raising the key and adding an acoustic rhythm track and piano that give the song a Western swing feel. He adds a bit of a tongue-in-cheek Elvis flair to his performance, giving some dramatic flourishes with the mic stand from time as he sings to an auditorium full of kids who have assembled for a Christmas dance. Adults decorate a Christmas tree in the background to add to the festive feel of the video.

Ramsey shot to viral fame and national attention as "Walmart Boy" or "Yodel Boy" when a clip of him yodeling a Hank Williams classic at a local Walmart in his home state of Illinois went viral online. The enterprising young singer has since turned up everywhere from Ellen to Good Morning America, and he's released an EP titled Famous. He's currently appearing with Florida Georgia Line as part of their five-night residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, and he is slated to perform "White Christmas" on NBC's Today Show on Dec. 13.
