See Miranda Lambert’s Husband, Brendan Mcloughlin, in a ‘Project Runway’ Cameo
Celebrity gossip website TMZ has uncovered another instance where Miranda Lambert's husband Brendan McLoughlin was in the spotlight.
Mcloughlin was featured on Season 5, Episode 4 of the fashion television series, Project Runway: Allstars. He was on the show to represent the NYPD for a segment and challenge where the fashion designers had to use unconventional materials that the firefighter, EMT and the police officer (McLoughlin) brought.
Host Alyssa Milano was even in scenes with him, and this wasn't just an appearance, but even a speaking role. The episode was filmed at Fire Station 31 in New York City, where McLoughlin currently serves as a police officer.
Being an officer of the law, some of the items he brought with him included sirens, lights and safety vests, among other items to challenge the designers with creating a runway-ready look.
In the full episode, a contestant even makes a remark about McLoughlin saying, "I usually avoid the police, but he can handcuff me anytime he wants."
Lambert shocked fans with news of the pair's wedding on Feb. 16. Lambert met the "love of her life" while she was performing on Good Morning America while he was doing security for the event.
Besides this brush with fame, McLoughlin also took part in a viral video of Cupid Shuffle. The video was taken during Pride Week in New York City sometime in 2015. The clip shows Mcloughlin and a fellow NYPD officer doing the dance with some civilians in the middle of a street fair in Times Square.
It was just revealed that Lambert will be headlining CMA Fest in Nashville this summer, but there's no word if her husband will be there supporting her.
