WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT
Imagine This, You're coming back to your multi acre property with plenty of livestock on it to find one of your horses has been shot dead and another was barely clinging to life to the point it had to be euthanized on site. Warning the following image is graphic.
Worse yet the person who did this also went after some of your working dogs and cattle after breaking in to your home and stealing a shotgun.
For one family down Highway 287 in the Vernon area this wasn't just a thought or a dream but a very real situation that took place back last Thursday the 22nd. Both the Wilbarger County Sheriff and the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Rangers are on the case and thankfully may have their guy and maybe with your help it's just a matter of time before he is taken in to custody.
Take a good look at the person above. He has a round tattoo on his left chest, a star on the left side of his stomach and a circular-type swirl tattoo on his left side and stands about 5'8 to 5'11 tall with a thin build. He told folks at a Vernon convenience store that he was trying to work his way back to the Amarillo area after harassing folks for beer, money and cigarettes.
DO NOT APPROACH
Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Special Ranger Jay Foster warns the public that this person of interest is armed and considered extremely dangerous.
