Last week Cody Johnson debuted "Get Over Saturday Night" on the Ashley Furniture HomeStore Front Porch -- and hot damn, if he doesn't have another hit on his hand. Of the song, he says he started writing it a year ago in Nebraska -- and finished writing it about two weeks ago, when he was back in Nebraska.

Well, isn't this just cool. Our pal, Cody Johnson, was invited to sing the National Anthem before a Texas Rangers game recently. And in true CJB fashion -- nailed it.

Seems like most everyone is bashing country music these days, and there's reason to. I heard  some legitimate reasons Why Country Music was Awful in 2013.
