Despite starting the week with frigid temperatures, work continues on the southeast section of Loop 335 in Amarillo and various projects around the panhandle.
Lots of patching work and repairs will be taking place this week especially if you travel I-40 and also Loop 335. Allow for extra time to get to your destination.
This week if you travel I-40 to Ross be prepared for some slow downs along that area of I-40. Not to mention if you travel I-40 W at Ross in the evening be prepared for one lane of traffic over the course of this week and next week.
If you have family traveling into town or through town please make them aware of all the construction in the area. In the meantime, here's what you have to worry about this week during your commutes.
This week's construction update brings you woes of I-27. If you thought I-40 was bad, be prepared for I-27 into Downtown Amarillo this week. But, this doesn't mean the construction on I-40 is letting up, more fun awaits you on our lovely interstate.
If you travel under I-40 and Ross be prepared to find an alternate route this week. Let's face it if you travel I-40, try not too this week or you'll be stuck in traffic fora very long time. Plus all the fun happening on Bell.
New phase begins on the Ross Street Bridge and Arthur project this week and other lane closures for routine maintenance.

Out with the old and in with the temporary as old traffic signals are removed at I-40 and Ross. Plus look for slow downs on I-27 near Rockwell Rd. and McCormick as well as Hillside.
