Texas ProKart Challenge Races Into Amarillo

Did you know that Amarillo has it's own Kart Circuit track? Although it is usually not open to the public, you have a chance to check it out this weekend as the Texas ProKart Challenge rolls into town. The Amarillo track is 0.8 miles long and is a replica of the Formula 1 track in Istanbul, Turkey.

Practice days are Thursday and Friday, July 18th and 19th, with racing on Saturday and Sunday, July 20th and 21st. Spectators are welcome to take in 2 days of practice and 2 full days of race action. It is a $10 dollar charge to watch and parking is free. The track will be open from 9am to 4pm on race days.
