Word is out that a "caravan" of Corvettes will be making their way through Amarillo. Be looking for them on I-40 next week.

Every 5 years, Corvette enthusiasts from all over gather in Kentucky. It's like a high-class "Gathering of the Juggalos".

Monday, around 8AM, there will be around 18 corvettes gathering in Amarillo to head to OKC; according to reports. If you're going to be on I-40 around that time, try to stay focused on the road.

Reports state that those 18 will be meeting up with more in OKC. From there they will continue on to Tulsa, then into Missouri.

According to reports, there are approximately 550 Corvettes that will be gathered in Missouri for a big block party and car show. After that, it's on to Kentucky.

This is where it gets crazy.

According to the report, there are roughly 5,000 Corvettes expected to arrive in Kentucky. That's more Corvettes than there were people in the town I grew up in.

So be on the lookout Monday. It should be a pretty cool sight seeing a caravan of Corvettes going down the road...and just be glad it's only 18 and not 5,000.
