These days, Little Big Town are anything but little ... and even bigger than big. From their multi-year reign as the CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year to their numerous Top 10 singles to their 2017 residency at one of the most famous venues in country music (the Ryman Auditorium), the quartet has made an indelible mark on their genre. However, they weren't always the little big band we've come to know and love.

LBT's success was nowhere near overnight -- and with almost two decades of experience under their belts, they've made some pretty epic memories between then and now. For example, did you know that Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook didn't start Little Big Town as a couple? In fact, Fairchild was already married when Westbrook joined the band!

And speaking of the old days, LBT's first hit single was such a long time coming -- as in, almost 20 years! "Boondocks" introduced Little Big Town to the country scene in the mid-2000s, but Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman first talked about starting a band in 1987 ... when they were still in college!

Whether they're throwing a huge paint party at the 2014 CMT Music Awards or releasing a disco-pop album that no one saw coming, Fairchild, Schlapman, Phillip Sweet and Westbrook are always surprising their fans. It makes you wonder: What unforgettable moments will Little Big Town be a part of next?
