It's Wet Nose Wednesday where we introduce you to a loving furry friend at the Amarillo SPCA that needs a home. This week, meet Tripp! (Click play on the video above!)

Tripp is the newest addition to the Amarillo SPCA cat building. He actually arrived while we were at the SPCA about to do this week's featured pet. Tripp was found hanging around outside an office in Canyon. He got the name Tripp because he is so loving, he loves to wrap around your legs as you walk and trip you! He is a 3-4 year old, orange tabby. Something that makes him extra special is that he is polydactyl, which means he has thumbs! A polydactyl cat is a cat with a congenital physical anomaly, which causes the cat to be born with more than the usual number of toes on one or more of its paws. But don't worry, this is nothing that hurts the cat or affects Tripp more than just having extra toes. In fact, he has 2 extra toes on each foot and you can see from his picture, he looks like he has kitty thumbs. He has just started his shots and will be available to go home soon. But in the mean time, you can stop by the SPCA and visit him now.

If you would like to adopt Tripp, or any of the other wonderful animals looking for their fur-ever home, give the Amarillo SPCA a call at (806) 622-0555.
