Yellow City Comic Con Is Back. Who’s Here This Weekend?

It's one of the most beloved events to roll through Amarillo each year.

However, it hasn't come through since 2019. Thanks a lot COVID.

It's back this weekend though! I'm talking about Amarillo's Yellow City Comic Con, or YC3 as many like to call it.

This year's comeback edition will be held at the Amarillo Civic Center and the festivities kick off on Friday evening. The doors will open up at 5 pm.

So what can we expect from this year's convention? Well, all the favorites you've come to know and love. There's going to be comic books galore, collectibles, cosplay, gaming, artists, authors, panels, and celebrity guests of course!

In fact, those celebrity guests are one of the main draws of the event, and there will be some big names in town. One of them takes me back to being a kid for sure.

Scheduled to appear at YC3 include Doug Jones from "Star Trek Discovery" among other projects, Denise Crosby who has been a part of a lot of major shows and movies including "Star Trek, The Next Generation" and "The Walking Dead", Austin St. John, the ORIGINAL red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, and the one I'd be looking most forward to, Kel Mitchell. You may remember Kel as one half of "Kenan and Kel", others will remember him from his classic movie, "Good Burger".
