The year 2018 was a big one for country and Americana music: Carrie Underwood's dramatic Cry Pretty, the return of the Pistol Annies with Interstate Gospel and big releases from Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Kacey Musgraves and Brandi Carlile, among others, all made their way into fans' hands (and ears) during the year.

But 2019 hasn't been too shabby in terms of new releases, either. There's plenty of new projects on the horizon, to say nothing of the dozens of albums already released this year.

In 2019, fans have received or will soon get the highly anticipated major-label debuts from artists such as Cody Johnson and Pony Bradshaw; an album of duets from Ronnie Milsap and a number of special guests; and Trisha Yearwood's first new full-length country album in a decade. And that's just the beginning.
