5 Businesses That Should Come To Amarillo
Have you ever looked around and wished that Amarillo had a business or restaurant that you have seen in another town, here? I am originally from the east coast, I grew up in Maryland, and moved to Amarillo from Richmond, Virginia. Having come from a large city, there are just some places that I wish we had here in the panhandle. Don't get me wrong, we have a ton of great stores and restaurants here, there are just a few that I think could do well here. What would be on your list? Let me know!

Super Target
The name says it all. Super Targets are Target stores that have a full grocery store just like Super Walmart stores. If you are a Target fan, you would love to shop at a Super Target.
- 2
Wegmans Grocery Store
Picture United's Market Street, but on steroids. Wegmans' stores are upscale grocery stores that feature multiple sit down eateries, a huge deli and prepared meals section, juice bar, sushi, seafood, and their own store brand that comes with some big savings. Right now the chain is mostly in the northeast.

The Cheesecake Factory
I know, I know... Amarillo doesn't need any more restaurants. However, I think you could find room for this one. Lubbock has one, so I think we should too. They have great meals, but the cheesecake is out of this world. We have plenty of old retail space that could accommodate this tasty addition.

Topgolf: Golf, Party Venue, Sports Bar & Restaurant
If you have never been to a Topgolf, you don't know what you are missing. It is a driving range, restaurant, bar, and overall party zone. It is something really fun to do with friends or family. Amarillo could really use a cool, outdoor complex like this.

Buc-ee's
It's the only gas station I know where people will drive all day just to visit. But let's be honest, it is way more than just a gas station. Rumors have been swirling about a Buc-ee's coming to the Amarillo area, but so far nothing has happened. Maybe they will see this and find out just how bad we want them here!
