Hillcrest Park Zoo in Clovis, NM is going to give one lucky resident a chance to name their latest edition to the zoo, a 2 week old baby Giraffe.

The baby Giraffe tuned 2 weeks old on Wednesday and is already over 6-feet tall and weighs about 120 lbs. Because she is a baby zoo workers are giving her round the clock attention making sure she is healthy and eating correctly.

Since the animal is from a naturally warm climate, she will not be able to go outside until the temperature rises to about 55-60 degrees, until then she is just waiting inside. The zoo is giving its residents a chance to name the Giraffe which is nameless at the moment. Residents have until Monday, Feb, 29th to submit their entry.
