Well-Known Amarillo Car Wash Headed to Auction
On Bell Street in Amarillo, Texas, just south of 45th Avenue, once stood a hustling and bustling car wash. Now the car wash sits empty.
In the early 2000s, a car wash opened at 4650 Bell St, and it was a new, fancy, state-of-the-art car wash. It was a car wash where you would zip in and zip out, hence the name Zips Car Wash. Zips went out of business around 2016, and soon another car wash name appeared on the signs.

Not long after Cascades closed, something new popped up on the former Cascades Car Wash website; it was transforming into Pirate Falls Car Wash. However, it seems that it never came to fruition, and the website is now defunct. Although the website changed, the signs at the car wash did not, and it never opened back up. Right now, it sits empty with weeds growing all around it.
