Amarillo Fire Fighters Kick Off Their Annual Fill the Boot
Every year for the past 60 years fire fighters have lined the streets of Amarillo to raise money for a great cause. The 2016 Amarillo Fill The Boot Fundraiser kicks off on Thursday, June 8th, at 10:00 a.m. and will continueuntil Saturday the 10th.
Amarillo Fire Department and Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 542 will spread out across our city with boots in hand to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) and find urgently-needed treatment to help cure muscular dystrophy. The funds will help support families and their loved ones affected by this illness.
