A local middle school teacher and her boyfriend were arrested for selling Ecstasy to an undercover cop.

Patricia Jean Coone, 35, a teacher at Bowie Middle School in Amarillo was arrested along with her boyfriend Joshua Ranard Glover, 25, for selling ecstasy to an undercover cop for months.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday and Coone's bond was set at $1500, she posted bail and was released on Saturday. Coone has worked with the Amarillo Independent School District since 2006 and on Tuesday Coone delivered her letter of recognition to the Amarillo Independent School Officials, effective immediately.

If she is convicted of her crime, delivering of a controlled substance than according to state officials her teaching certificate could be suspended or she could lose if indefinitely. Glover still remains inside of the Potter County Jail, his bond is set at $40,000 and is facing up to three charges of delivering a controlled substance.

This is the second indecent involving an Amarillo Independent School District teacher, In December a teacher at Sanborn Elementary School was arrested after students tipped off the Amarillo Police Department that she was having a relationship at a student who attends Amarillo High School.
