This time it is the worst city to live in Texas.  A video on TikTok by Geoviewusa included this Texas Panhandle city.  While most of us will probably disagree with the choice, it's out there in the universe now and must be defended.

Sitting at #10, they named Amarillo as one of the worst towns to live in Texas.

I disagree.  Although our Yellow City has its faults, I do not believe it is one of the worst in Texas.  It doesn't even give reasons why Amarillo is one of the worst to live in.

Yes, we live in a very flat area, and the weather is moody.  But Amarillo is a great city and it is growing.  More and more bigger businesses are moving in and that is bringing more for the residents to do and experience.

Plus, for this one reason only, Amarillo shouldn't be on the list.

Amarillo has a Buc-ee's!

This is one of the reasons why Amarillo is not the worst city to live in.  However, we have a low cost of living and a low unemployment rate, and for the most part, it's a city full of great and caring people who take care of each other.  So I call bull on this video.

The great thing about this video is that it includes Lubbock, which ranked #4. So, according to this video, Amarillo is better than Lubbock.  Maybe this video has some truth.

What is the Worst City to Live in Texas?

According to the TikTok video, it's Huntsville.
