Mitsubishi Is Back in Amarillo With a Brand-New Dealership

One brand that's been missing from Amarillo for a while is Mitsubishi. Amarillo has had a few Mitsubishi dealerships over the years, but it's been a while.

Remembering the Former Mitsubishi Dealership in Amarillo

I remember when Gene Messer Mitsubishi was located on the corner of Paramount and Blackburn. It was where I bought my Mitsubishi Galant, and I loved that car. I would have gotten another Mitsubishi, but they no longer have the Galant, and there wasn't a Mitsubishi dealership in town.

The former Mitsubishi building is now a storage facility, and although you can sort of see where the building was a car dealership, it's just a reminder of days gone by.  There was another Mitsubishi, but it was owned by Reagor-Dykes, and we're not even going to go there.

Where Is the New Mitsubishi Dealership in Amarillo?

Fast forward to 2025, and Amarillo can celebrate a Mitsubishi dealership. The new Mitsubishi dealership is an impressive sight to see and is a part of the Khoury Group. It is located at 4341 Canyon Dr, in the old Jack Sizemore Traveland property.  However, it's a new building that has been built from the ground up, and it is just pretty.

What Models Can You Find at Amarillo Mitsubishi?

They hosted their ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, introducing themselves to Amarillo.  If you're in the market for a new Mitsubishi, then you can check out their incredible lineup of cars, including the Eclipse Cross, Mirage, Outlander, and Outlander Sport. They also offer the Warranty Forever plan.

Hopefully, they will bring the Galant back, and I'll be one of the first to go shopping for one.
