We know it already. Amarillo has a lot of great restaurants. It's hard to pick where to go for lunch or dinner because we have so many great places to choose from.

Texas Monthly likes to help with that decision. They keep a dining guide. If you are looking for places to eat as you drive around our great state you can just search the city in the guide and get a suggestion.

They are here to help. The Guide has just added a new restaurant to their list from Amarillo. It is one that I have been to several times. Sumo Japanese Steakhouse - 2300 Bell Street.

I really like stopping there for lunch. I love their sushi. I'm all about the Edamame. My daughter prefers to get it spicy. I have always wanted to try the ramen. It looks so good but I usually just stick with the Sukiyaki Steak Fried Rice....but someday I will venture out.

Sumo was featured in the May issue of Texas Monthly.
