You can drive down an Amarillo street a thousand times and see a business on a regular basis. When you drive by that business, an Amarillo staple, and see a for-sale sign, it's sad. Another long-time Amarillo business is saying goodbye, selling its inventory and retiring: Today's Style Too.

This Amarillo business, located between 34th and Olsen on Western, brought style to the homes of Amarillo. Today's Style Too brought something to Amarillo that not many places do: style.

I'll be honest: I never had the chance to buy anything from Today's Style Too, but every time I drove by, I knew one day I would have the funds to buy that giant dinosaur for my yard, the big green cactus for my backyard, or that colorful chiminea for my patio.

Where to Find the Best Deals in the Liquidation Sale

However, the time to shop at Today's Style Too is coming to a close. According to the Facebook page, the owner is retiring. The store has been an Amarillo staple for over 40 years. Right now, the store is having a huge liquidation sale. If you've been wanting one of those alien statues, an old-fashioned street lamp, or an iron mailbox, the time to go to Today's Style Too is now.

Not only are they liquidating their inventory, but there are also for-sale signs on the building and on the fence. Although I cannot find a real estate listing for the main building at 2816 S. Western, the lot on the property that looks like a fenced-in park is for sale. That plot of land is 4201 S. King. It's 11,623 square feet and listed at $185,000. That's a nice piece of land located on a busy section of Western.
