What the Tyson Layoff Job Fair Offers Former Employees
The Tyson Layoff Job Fair and Resource Fair will take place on Tuesday, January 27, from 1 pm - 5 pm at the Amarillo Civic Center North Exhibit Hall.
This is a chance for those laid off to be in front of real hiring managers, not a computer screen, filling multiple applications and having them go nowhere.
Why Face-to-Face Hiring Matters More Than Online Applications
Many of those laid off by Tyson don't know another job; they have been working in this field for a long time. The job world has transitioned into something different. Most companies use AI to scan applications, and great applicants are getting lost in the shuffle.
This event is only open to those former Tyson employees. Be ready with your resume, and be prepared to interview on-site for possible new employment.
