Could Amarillo’s Buc-ee’s Have the Longest Car Wash in the US? AI Says Yes!

One of the coolest things to come to Amarillo in a long time was the announcement that we were getting a Buc-ee's.  This will be a huge addition to Amarillo, not just for our tourism, but for us as citizens.  We will have Beaver Nuggets at our fingertips, and their famous brisket sandwich, beef jerky, and fudge within a 10-15 minute drive.

The signs for Buc-ee's went up a few weeks ago, and the stop signs that were once at that intersection have been removed and replaced with actual traffic lights.

This brings us one step closer to the opening of Buc-ees, which is set for December 16th. This will allow us plenty of time to shop for our entire family's Christmas presents.

Opening Day Can't Get Here Quick Enough!

One of the great features of Buc-ee's is their car wash, and over the weekend a post popped up on the ❤️❤️AMARILLO'S BUC-EE’S OPENING SOON!!❤️❤️ Facebook Page.  Hunt Jacob posted a screenshot about the car wash.  AI got a little froggy and shared that Amarillo would have the world's longest car wash at Buc-ee's.  That's cool.

The question asked was are they planning on a Buc-ee's car wash in Amarillo.

AI answered with, Yes, the Buc-ee's in Amarillo, Texas will include the longest car wash in the United States.

Unfortunately, this is the perfect example of how AI got it wrong.  Amarillo's Buc-ee's will have a car wash, but it won't be the longest.  That honor belongs to the Buc-ees in Katy, Texas.

According to MySanAntonio.com, a  Buc-ee's spokesperson reached out to them and said:

Katy will continue to hold the "World's Longest Car Wash" title in the company because the AI generated Google search was "Not correct."

It is a beautiful carwash!
