Over the next few months we could all be very, very busy. There are festivals, concerts, activites and events being added to the calendar daily. The only bad part about it is deciding on which one to go to.

We've been doing our best to keep up, and yesterday I came across Pampafest. It's exactly what it sounds like. It's a festival, in Pampa, TX.

Looking into exactly what Pampafest is supposed to be, I was pleasently surprised. It's not just a few bands playing with a couple of food trucks nearby. It's not some small fleamarket style event.

The event is supposed to kick off in the morning and lasts well into the evening and night. There's music scheduled for the whole day with a lot of activities for kids, and I saw it mentioned that there will be over 80 vendors.

When it comes to food, they mention food trucks on their website along with a competition cook-off. So I guess you'll be wanting to show up with an appetite.

The whole fest is designed to be like a main street style fair. It will be at the intersection of Cuyler and Foster on the bricks and is a fundraising event.

The bands that will be performing include Lindsey Lane, Velvet Funk, Michael D. Coon Band, Zac Wilkerson, and Cooder Graw.

It almost feels like there's a gold rush in the panhandle to host events. After spending last summer without much to do, we're all ready to get out and have some fun. There are a lot of organizations wanting to help us all do that.
