Arrest Made For 2019 Murder Of Richard Garza In Amarillo
June 16 the United States Marshal Service Task Force and the Amarillo Police Department arrested 47 year old Mollie Franklin Williams, aka Kristina Williams. Williams was booked into the Randall County Jail.
December 17 2019 Amarillo Police were called to Southeast Park check on a man who was slumped over the driver’s wheel of a car. Police discovered thirty year old Richard Garza. Indecently December 17 was also Garza’s birthday. Amarillo Crime Stoppers immediately offered a reward for information leading to the apprehension of a suspect or suspects. That reward was increased to $2000. It is unknown if a caller tipped police to the arrest.

Richard Garza was born December 17, 1989 in Amarillo, Texas to Licha Garza and Juan Pedraza.
Richard was a devoted father who loved his children very much. He enjoyed football and watching his favorite team the New England Patriots. He loved listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. His smile and sense of humor were always the life of the crowd.
Survivors include: His parents, Licha Garza of Amarillo, Tx; and Juan Pedraza of Fort Collins, Colorado. His children, a daughter, Reyna Pedraza and two sons Rafael and Richard Pedraza. His grandmother Betty Velasquez. Nine brothers and sister, Andrew Garza, Anthony Holguin, Ivan Holguin, Dimitrues Garza all of Amarillo, Tx; Juan Pedraza JR, Vinnie Pedraza, Andrew Pedraza, Alyssa Pedraza and Stephanie Pedraza all of Fort. Collins, Colorado. Many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him
