
There’s a Pick-Your-Own Flower Farm Hidden in the Texas Panhandle
You never know what you might find in the Amarillo area. There are hidden gems all over. Some of those gems are things you wouldn't expect to see in an area like the Texas Panhandle.

One of those items happens to be a flower farm. You see people on social media and in movies walking up and down aisles on flower farms, picking flowers for bouquets and arrangements. You think, why can't we have something like that in our area?
Sometimes, you don't realize the things you're wishing for are already right here. Yes, there is a flower farm in the area where you can go and pick flowers.
It's called Bees n' Blooms Farm, and it is located in Canyon, Texas.

From Houston to the Texas Panhandle: The Story Behind the Farm
The owners, Alyssa and Murphy Overbay, had a dream of owning land, homesteading, and growing their own food. They started Bees n' Blooms Farm near Houston. After starting a family, they wanted their children to be closer to relatives and moved Bees n' Blooms Farm up to the Texas Panhandle.

When Can You Visit Bees n' Blooms Farm?

The farm opens to the public for flower picking on June 22, 2026. Bees n' Blooms is located at 300 W. Heritage Ln., in Canyon. Hours are Sunday 6-9 pm, Tuesday-Wednesday 8-11 am, Friday and Saturday 8-11 am and 6-9 pm.
UPDATE: Bees n' Blooms has postponed their opening day and is currently looking at July 3, but that is up to Mother Nature.
Opening date is being postponed. We have LOTS of buds and a few blooms. We are currently looking at July 3rd for opening day.

More Than Just Picking: What Else Bees n' Blooms Offers
Not only do they have flower picking open to the public, but they also have flowers for events, bulk and custom orders, and they welcome private groups to the farm. If you're a photographer or want photos done on the farm, they will work with you on times perfect for the best shot.

Find Them at the Canyon Farmer's Market This Summer
If you're not one to pick your own flowers, you can find Bees n' Blooms now through September at the Canyon Farmer's Market on Saturdays, 8 am-12 pm.
