Residents Along VFW Between Canyon and Amarillo Finally Have a Great Coffee Choice

The stretch of VFW Road between Amarillo and Canyon used to be a popular shortcut for many people. However, over the past 10 years, it has seen the development of numerous new neighborhoods. In the last 5 years, various businesses have also started to emerge along that stretch.

For the longest time, Pak-A-Sak was the lone store at FM 2219 and VFW, but then Toot 'n Totum popped up, a storage/office space, a bank, several store strips including a nail salon, an O'Reilly's, and a couple of restaurants.

The one thing missing from the area was a great place to get coffee.  Yeah, you can get coffee at one of the convenience stores, but a really good fancy cup of coffee was miles away.  Now that all has ended.

Better Bean Coffee is located at 14588 FM 2590 inside the Corner Grill.  It opens at 6 am.

The growth in this area isn't going to end, it is slowly becoming a little city between Amarillo and Canyon.

If you live in this area and leave your house early in the morning to stop and grab a coffee before heading to work, you now have one around the corner.  If you work in the area and need a little pick me up and don't want to drive to Amarillo or Canyon and don't want to stop at a convenience store for their coffee, you now have Better Bean Coffee.
