We aren't just talking about presents, we are talking about meals.  We are in a time when families are struggling to put food on their tables daily much less a large festive meal for Thanksgiving.

Times are tough and more families are struggling this year

This is why it is heartwarming to know that Amarillo will come together to take care of its own.  One business in Amarillo is always quick to step up to lend a helping hand.

Big Jim's is ready to help out those families who are struggling with a full Thanksgiving Dinner.   Not only are they stepping up they are teaming up with one of the rowdiest Facebook groups in Amarillo to make sure our fellow breatheran are fed,  AMARILLO RESTAURANT REVIEWS.... AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Even though that group is rowdy, fun, and boisterous, it is also filled with people with BIG hearts (We promise we'll still let people think you are all the Grinch; we'll quietly watch those hearts grow three sizes).

Right now, Big Jim's is committing to help out 10 Amarillo families that need a great Thanksgiving dinner.

Big Jim's will supply the turkeys for the meals, and that's where everyone else comes in to help.  They need help with the delicious sides that make Thanksgiving complete, dressing/stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli rice casserole, cranberry sauce, gravy, rolls, and desserts (to name a few). These are the things that make Thanksgiving dinner top-notch.

If you or your business would like to help with the sides and desserts, then you can sign up for the Thanksgiving Meal Train.

Then drop off your donations at Big Jim's Pizza Co., 3801 Olsen Blvd, by November 15th so families can start picking up their meals on November 16th.

This isn't the first time Big Jim's Pizza Company has helped families out with food, Big Jim's was helping out families back in June to make sure they had a meal after the school year was over.
