Big Tex Burritos in Canyon Has An Opening Day

Get ready to tempt your taste buds. Another great restaurant is opening in Canyon.  This one has been in the making for over a year, and it is bringing some great grub into Canyon.

When is Big Tex Burritos Opening in Canyon?

Big Tex Burritos or BTB will be opening its doors to the residents of Canyon and the surrounding areas on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Big Tex Burritos is located at 211 N. 15th St., right next to Tex Randall, hence the name.

What is on the Big Tex Burritos Menu?

This new restaurant will be serving up delicious burritos, bowls, nachos, and more.

You start by picking out a burrito, protein bowl, nachos, a loaded baked potato, or salad.  Then you get to choose your protein from carnitas pork, Mexican brisket, fajita beef, fajita chicken, barbacoa, taco meat, or vegetarian.

Do Toppings Cost Extra at Big Tex Burritos?

Then add a slew of free toppings ranging from cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, refried beans, and onions, to name a few.  Or choose to add their premium toppings (at an extra charge), including sour cream, guacamole, and white queso.

Then you get to choose your salsa or sauces, including ranch, spicy ranch, BBQ, house salsa, verde salsa, and tarnation salsa.

The kids' menu includes smaller versions of the nachos and burritos.
