This has got to be the most Texas Texany thing ever.  There is a ranch in Anson, Texas that is solely Texan down to the ground.

Quail Ridge Ranch

Quail Ridge Ranch is a 1500-acre full exotic game ranch.  They offer lodging, meals, and guides to help you on their hunt.  They also offer a venue for events, parties, and weddings.

It's not the hunting that makes it the most Texany thing.  It is the lake that they have on their property.  If you are standing on the edge looking at it, you probably would not notice anything unique, but if you looked at it from above, you would see that the lake is in the shape of a boot.

Researching, it's hard to find anything about this little lake on this ranch.  It looks like it could have been man-made, but in all truth, this is probably something that God looked down on and said, it's Texas, it needs a boot lake.

Quail Ridge Ranch may be a hunter's paradise, but they have non-hunting activities.
