Another business in Canyon is closing its doors.

That is, until they finish their long-awaited remodel of the store.

What About My Milk?

Braum's has been a staple in Canyon for decades and many people frequent this location. Some people visit every morning to grab one of their big breakfast burritos. Others visit regularly to pick up Braum's milk (which is some of the best milk around).  And still others drop in weekly for a meal, while others stop in to enjoy their ice cream, whether it is their soft-serve twist cones or their delicious sundaes.

While the remodel will shutter the doors temporarily, this means that when the remodel is done, there will be a new and better Braum's ready to serve their customers!

What's Happening in the Remodel?

We reached out to the people at Braums, who were able to tell us what we can expect from the remodel:

• Kitchen bumpout (100 SF)
• 100% new kitchen equipment
• addition of the double make table, which was not there before.
• Double the previous fryer capacity
• Complete new HVAC / Mechanical system
• New 3 pint freezers in the Fresh Market
• New milk refrigeration - glass display in the Fresh Market
• All the seating is replaced (nothing added)
• New front line counters
• Different building signage, addition of the mural (before and after pic attached)
• New front glass

When is it expected to reopen?

A timeline was not given as to when Braums will reopen, but it can be expected to be sooner rather than later!

In the meantime, Canyon residents can always come into any of the locations in Amarillo to pick up milk, dinner, or a sweet treat.

However, Braum's on North Western will be undergoing its remodeling and renovations also, but that doesn't look to start until Fall.
