This Long Awaited Canyon, Texas Restaurant and Brewery is Finally Open

Canyon, Texas, is growing fast and it’s not stopping anytime soon. Over the last ten years, the town has really expanded, and that hometown vibe is a big part of what makes it special, thanks to the great people and local businesses.

With more growth happening, plenty of new businesses are popping up. One standout has taken a historic building and turned it into something really amazing.

What Business is Opening in the Santa Fe Depot in Canyon, Texas?

Pondaseta Brewing Company began remodeling the Santa Fe Depot in Canyon two years ago. It was announced in May 2023 that something big was going to happen.

It's finally here!  Pondaseta posted the good news on their Facebook page. Six years after opening their first brewery and after a lot of blood, sweat, and beer, Pondaseta Brewing Co. in Canyon is officially open and waiting for you.  The new location will feature two full bars with over 20 taps each and a full restaurant.

What Hours Will Pondaseta Brewing Co. in Canyon, Texas Be Open?

They are located at 1001 2nd Ave in Canyon, Texas.  Their hours will be:

• Mon-Fri: 5-10 pm
• Sat: 11-10 pm
• Sun: 11-3 pm

They will be hosting an official Grand Opening and party soon, but in the meantime its time to head out with friends and co-workers and help them break the new place in.  Now that doesn't mean breaking it, but helping them usher in this new chapter.

As with all new restaurants, give them grace, they will need to work out the kinks as they invite patrons into this new space.  Go out, have fun, congratulate them on this milestone, and enjoy pizza and beer!
