Canyon Popcorn Co. Set for Grand Reopening July 1

When one of your favorite stores closes, it leaves a gaping hole. This is especially true when it was a unique store with its own recipes and designs. When it was announced that Canyon Popcorn Co. was closing, many people were sad because this shop had become a popular place in Canyon.

After the announcement, a whirlwind of change began. Once the word was out that the business was closing, and that it was due to leasing issues and lack of a buyer, someone jumped in to save the day.

A New Owner Steps In

This beloved, popular local business wasn't going to close permanently. That's when Evelyn Romero stepped in and bought the business with plans to keep it alive.

Over the last few weeks, as the store closed temporarily, she has been working hard, learning the popcorn business and mixing up new flavors, and is ready to reopen one of Canyon's favorites.

Canyon Popcorn Co. Grand Reopening Details

The grand reopening of Canyon Popcorn Co. will be on Wednesday, July 1, just in time for the big Independence Day Celebration in Canyon.  If you aren't familiar with the store and want to visit for the first time, it is located at 2304 4th Avenue in Canyon.

What's New at Canyon Popcorn Co.

They have been restocking the vintage sodas and candies, and just received a big shipment on Friday. They have been popping and mixing up your favorite popcorn and are ready to meet you. The store will be open from 8am to 4pm.
