Carrie Underwood hit the ice at the Predators' home game in Nashville on Sunday (April 29) night to sing the National Anthem. The Preds faced off against the Winnipeg Jets at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena — Game 2 of their 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs series.

The Predators and the Jets started their second-round series on Friday (April 27), and Dierks Bentley and Del McCoury sang the anthem to kick it off. The team's first-round series saw the Preds defeating the Colorado Avalanche four games to two in their first-round playoffs matchup.

Last Friday, Grammy-winning artist Maren Morris sang before their third home game. On April 14, the team welcomed Brad Paisley to sing the anthem, which he did, accompanying himself on guitar. And, the team opened up their first game of the series with Rascal Flatts performing the anthem on April 12.

Underwood's husband, Mike Fisher, is a Preds player. Last year, the beloved Music City NHL team took things all the way to the very end before narrowly missing out on the Stanley Cup, and Underwood was one of an impressive list of superstars who hit the ice to sing the National Anthem prior to home games in the final run.

Underwood is just getting back in the swing of things following a terrible fall at her house in November. She got dozens of stitches in her face afterward, and warned fans via social media that she might look different the next time they saw her. She has shown her face a number of times since — even performing her new single "Cry Pretty" at the 2018 ACM Awards — revealing no lasting visible damage.

The superstar previously teased fans that she was planning something very special for the team's upcoming games.

"Last year, I was so proud to be the Captain’s wife and loved being able to contribute to the excitement of the playoffs by coming out to perform the anthem at the first game," Underwood told the Tennessean newspaper earlier this month. "I had so much fun and wanted to continue to support the team by asking a few of my friends to get in on the action. Like all of the Preds fans, I’m thrilled that Mike is back on the ice and I love that we are able to bring the music and hockey worlds together this way."
