The Chinese government launched a national campaign on human trafficking in April, 2009. Police have saved more than 18,000 children and 35,000 women, along the way capturing more than 50,000 suspects.

Traffickers mostly go after women and children causing human trafficking to be a major issue in China. One official said they will continue to save women and children and crack down on human trafficking. For the full story courtesy of CNN CLICK HERE.
