Restaurants Check Your Beef: Parts of Texas Affected by E. Coli Ground Beef Product Recall
Most of us eat out and when we eat out, we hope and pray that the restaurants we eat at check and make sure all the products they serve are top-notch. Unfortunately, things happen to the products they are sent, and need to be recalled.
A recall has been made on fresh ground beef products. Dean & Peeler Meatworks, LLC in Texas, has issued a recall on over 1,800 pounds of their ground beef products that could be contaminated with E. Coli. The fresh beef products were made on August 22, 2023
What is E.Coli?
According to the CDC, Escherichia coli are bacteria found in the environment, foods, and intestines of people and animals. E. coli are a large and diverse group of bacteria. Although most strains of E. coli are harmless, others can make you sick. Some kinds of E. coli can cause diarrhea, while others cause urinary tract infections, respiratory illness and pneumonia, and other illnesses.
