Texas is Home to 9 of the Dumbest Towns in the Country

It's bad enough that half of the country thinks Texas is a bunch of dumb rednecks.  However, as you know that isn't the case, but unfortunately, a new study shows that Texas has some very uneducated cities and towns.

A study done by 247wallst.com found the top 50 most uneducated cities in the country.  Texas had 9 cities on the list,  9 Texas cities!!!

Some of these Texas cities on the list might surprise you:

Houston, Texas entered the list at #16
Only 3.3% of adults have at least a bachelor's degree
Only 42.8% of adults have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Fabens, Texas entered the list at #18
Only 3.3% of adults have at least a bachelor's degree
Only 50.2% of adults have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Corpus Christi, Texas entered the list at #23
Only 3.6% of adults have at least a bachelor's degree
Only 58.2% of adults have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Gatesville, Texas entered the list at #30
Only 3.8% of adults have at least a bachelor's degree
Only 70.7% of adults have a high school diploma or equivalent.
